What is Palo Santo (holy wood)?
Holy wood or Bursera Graveolens is an aromatic tree that grows on the coast of South America and is related, for example, to incense, myrrh or digging resin. It has a very pleasant aroma and is part of a family of citrus trees with sweet tones of pine, mint and lemon.
It is a sacred tree traditionally used by indigenous communities in sacred practices. Shamans burn pieces of holy wood to clear their space and ward off evil spirits.
This wood offers us a very strong, deep and rich scent and only the presence of a log of this wood will allow you to distinguish its delicate scent without the need to ignite it.
